Gujarati Samaj Of Minnesota has helped the local community and the world since its establishment. Most importantly, Samaj members rallied together with over thousands of dollars in donations for Gujarat state after the massive January 26, 2001 earthquake in a unified Gujarat Earthquake Relief Fund partially funded by local corporations and other organizations. The Samaj and its partners were able to completely rebuild a village.

6. Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento 

Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento was founded on the idea that all the Gujarati’s in the greater Sacramento Area needed to have a place where they could meet, mingle, exchange ideas, celebrate festivals, teach kids about our Gujarati Heritage. A group of Gujarati’s found the Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento (GSS) in 1979, with a small membership. GSS was incorporated as a non-profit organization in November 1981. A building was purchased and converted into a temple. As the community was growing, the membership increased and there appeared a need for a bigger home. GSS hosted Shri Morari Bapu katha in 1991.

Gujarati Mandal of Central Ohio (GMOCO) is a non-profit organization within the Indian Community. It was founded in 1967 in Columbus, Ohio. GMOCO hosts an array of activities and programs throughout the year including Holi, Picnic, Navratri and Diwali/Year end gala.
