Gujarati Cultural Association (GCA) of Bay Area, California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable and educational organization established to promote humanitarian efforts within the community, preserve Gujarati cultural heritages and traditions, educate the youth, celebrate Indian festivals, and enhance networking amongst the larger Bay Area community. Founded over 40 years by first generation Gujaratis, GCA has thousands of members and is becoming one of the largest cultural organizations in the west coast. Each year, GCA organizes numerous activities and events throughout the year to promote Gujarati/Indian traditions, and bring excitement, values and unity to the Bay Area community.

4. Gujarati Samaj Of Minnesota
Gujarati Samaj Of Minnesota has helped the local community and the world since its establishment. Most importantly, Samaj members rallied together with over thousands of dollars in donations for Gujarat state after the massive January 26, 2001 earthquake in a unified Gujarat Earthquake Relief Fund partially funded by local corporations and other organizations. The Samaj and its partners were able to completely rebuild a village.
Throughout the years, the organization grew extensively with more members and larger events. Samaj jumped into the cyber world in the summer of 2005 with the launch of this web site. With this site, the Samaj is now able to get information out to members quickly and easily. In November 2006, the Samaj was even honored by Narendra Modi, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, India state.

5. Gujarati Samaj of Montgomery
Gujarati Samaj of Montgomery is an organization of Gujarati people living in central Alabama. The objects and purpose of the Samaj shall be to encourage and support the education, civic and patriotic activity and endeavors and the social and fraternal activities of natives of India, and their descendants, now residing in Central Alabama.

6. Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento
Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento was founded on the idea that all the Gujarati’s in the greater Sacramento Area needed to have a place where they could meet, mingle, exchange ideas, celebrate festivals, teach kids about our Gujarati Heritage. A group of Gujarati’s found the Gujarati Samaj of Sacramento (GSS) in 1979, with a small membership. GSS was incorporated as a non-profit organization in November 1981. A building was purchased and converted into a temple. As the community was growing, the membership increased and there appeared a need for a bigger home. GSS hosted Shri Morari Bapu katha in 1991.

7. Rocky Mountain Gujarati Samaj
Rocky Mountain Gujarati Samaj, Inc. (RMGSI) was formed as a non-profit corporation in the State of Colorado. The Organization received it’s tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service under the section 501(c)4 of the Internal Revenue Code.
RMGSI was formed to promote knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of the dance, music and cultural practices of the people of Gujarat province in India, to provide social interaction and cultural exchange between people whose families are descendants of Gujarati people of India who are now residing in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. The goal of the organization is to make traditional Gujarati performing and cultural arts available to the members.
